DP Consulting Group Singapore PTE LTD: People - Design


Led by a highly dedicated team of experienced designers, DP Design has proven that its expertise stretches beyond the traditional realms of interior design to include space planning, corporate branding strategies, signage and wayfinding – elements of interior architecture that, when articulated successfully, further define the character of the spaces.


MIKE LIM (Director)

Mike Lim is responsible for the concept design and design development of a wide range of projects including commercial complexes, large condominiums, shops, restaurants and offices. He was the interior designer of The Dubai Mall, the largest mall in the world. Besides prominent local projects like Resorts World Sentosa, Changi Airport Terminal 1 and 2, and Paragon Shopping Centre; Mike has undertaken numerous overseas projects including Noon Square in South Korea and Abu Dhabi Tower in the United Arab Emirates. He is currently working on the renewal of Wisma Atria, Rift Bay in Jordan and Doha Festival City in Qatar.


JOHN TAN (Associate Director)

Before joining DP Architects in 2008, John Tan worked in two established interior design firms. His previous experience includes the retrofitting of guest floor corridors in Orchard Hotel and the suite corridors in Hilton Hotel in Seoul, Korea. John has managed both local and overseas projects, including residential developments, hotel retrofitting, F&B outlets and offices from tender to construction stage. John was the team leader for all interior design fitting-out works for the Central Zone and casino at Resorts World Sentosa. He is currently working on the West Zone of the same development.


ADA SIM (Senior Associate)

Since joining DP, Ms Ada Sim has attained comprehensive design experience concentrated in the Asian region.

Ada’s portfolio of work includes major hospitality and residential projects in Singapore, Malaysia, China and Indonesia, such as Singapore’s integrated resort Resorts World Sentosa and Zhongshan Park Integrated Development. The breadth of her experiences has allowed her to dream up design approaches ranging from contemporary to understated luxury. Ada has expertise in generating designs that focus on functional details, which shape the overall aesthetics of the built establishment that is conceived.

Aside from an assurance of quality, Ada’s designs often respond to sustainability concerns and are sympathetic to the different cultural contexts found in each region. Passionate about design, Ada’s work encompasses conceptualisation, design development and coordination throughout the tenure of a project.

Ms Ada Sim obtained her Bachelor of Built Environment (Interior Design) degree at Australia Queensland University of Technology in 2002.


CHRISTINE PASCUAL (Senior Associate)

Christine Pascual has over 14 years of diverse experience in both architectural and interior design and has contributed to several large-scale commercial, hospitality and institutional projects in Singapore, Middle East and South-east Asia.

She was the interior design team leader on notable projects such as the Pantages Hollywood TheaterTM at Universal Studios Singapore®, Retail 112-117 in Dubai, Blocks 51 and 58 at one of Singapore’s oldest polytechnics, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, as well as Clementi Mall in Singapore. She was also actively involved in projects such as the Burj Dubai Boutique Hotel, the upmarket shopping centre Paragon on Orchard Road and The State House Hotel in Yangon, Myanmar.

Christine is currently the interior design team leader for significant projects such as Sengkang General and Community Hospitals, one of the largest hospitals being built in Singapore.


PEERADET KANGSADALKUN (Senior Associate)

Mr Peeradet Kangsadalkun hails from Bangkok, Thailand and joined DP Design in 2006. Since then, he has helped design a diverse range of commercial, institutional and hospitality projects.

His expertise spans conceptualisation, design development and coordination. His key strengths are in decision-making, displaying initiative and a capacity for problem solving. His experience at DP has pushed him to conceive designs that are contemporary, avant garde or elegantly understated. Peeradet is also skilled at creating designs that consider the functional details, adding to the overall aesthetics of the project.

Peeradet has helmed the interior design for various projects in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and China. These include the Hard Rock Hotel Singapore at Resorts World Sentosa, premier private education provider Raffles Education Corporation and the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, among others. He has a deep passion for design, is proficient at leading projects and is a strategic thinker, backed by years of experience and technical knowledge. Goal-oriented and adept at handling multiple tasks within a team, Peeradet’s level of service and dedication have also earned him positive endorsements from clients.

Peeradet obtained his Bachelor of Architecture (Interior Architecture) degree at the Assumption University in Thailand in 2005.

YEONG WENG FAI (Director)

Yeong Weng Fai joined DP Architects in 1989 and has been involved in a wide spectrum of projects from landed to high-rise residential developments, institutional buildings, interior architectural design and landscape design in Singapore and overseas. A keen horticulturalist, he has played an integral role in numerous landscape design projects in Singapore including Civil Service Club at Changi, Four Acres Singapore and River Safari. Weng Fai is currently focusing on Tampines Town Hub; Sengkang General and Community Hospitals; Connexion at Farrer Park, a hospital and hotel complex; Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and several landscape projects in India, China, Indonesia and Myanmar.






YVONNE TAN (Director)

Yvonne graduated with first-class honours in Landscape Architecture from Lincoln University, New Zealand. She brings to the team 20 years of local and international experience in landscape planning, landscape architecture and urban design. More than 9 years of her work experience were dedicated to China and India. Yvonne has delivered a diverse range of projects – including mixed-use, residential, commercial, civic spaces, institutions, hospitality, recreational and park infrastructure as well as waterfront projects. She has expertise in operating as a liaison for clients, hardscape and softscape design, project management and administration as well as detailing and production. Her current projects include Tampines Town Hub in Singapore and several mega mixed-use developments in China, India and Indonesia.




VARIT CHAROENVEINGVECHKIT (Senior Associate)

Varit Charoenveingvechkit joined DP Architects upon his graduation from Chulalongkorn University in 2004 with a degree in Landscape Architecture. The winner of the design competition for ‘Chatuchak Metropolitan Park’ held during his undergraduate days, he has since gained more than ten years of experience working on healthcare, religious and residential developments as well as commercial and residential entry plazas and roof gardens. Prominent projects in his portfolio include Sengkang General and Community Hospitals and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Fulong Century Centre in Xiamen and The Esplanade in Tianjin, China. His current project of focus is Orchard Hotel.







TAN SZE WEI (Arborist)

Tan Sze Wei graduated from the National University of Singapore with a degree in Botany and is a Certified Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture (USA). Her professional experience includes arborist consultation, landscape and planting design and project management of various landscape upgrading schemes for Sentosa Island and Sentosa Cove. Working alongside international specialists, including Australian landscape designer Jamie Durie and German horticultural consultant Norbert Nuhues, has also broadened her knowledge and provided her with valuable exposure in arboriculture and landscape consultation. Prominent projects in her arboriculture consultation portfolio include Singapore Sports Hub and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. Her current projects include The Pines, Oxley Projects and the new Downtown East in Singapore.
